Payment, Shipping & Delivery

Payment

  • We accept payments for credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, AMEX via Square, or payment through PayPal.

  • Once you confirm your order, you can choose to either pay securely by credit card or you can be directed to the PayPal website where you can pay with your PayPal account.

  • If you have any queries or concerns, please contact us at orders@palatialliving.com.au for assistance referencing your purchase order number.

 

Shipping costs

  • We ship Australia wide.

  • Orders for all items (homeware, fashion accessories and decorator pieces) to Australian destinations will be sent by courier with prices varying depending on items - size & weight - and location. Furniture delivery is done by quote.

  • If you need your order very quickly, please send us an email and we will contact you directly to organise the fastest method possible which may incur extra charges.

  • To reduce unnecessary waste, we use recycled packaging whenever possible to send out your items.

Delivery timeframes

  • We dispatch in stock items daily and most orders will go out the day after the order is received. Most orders are sent with Australia Post or via Sendle and delivery to major cities on the east coast will take approximately 1-4 business days. Items going to Adelaide can take 3-5 business days and items to Perth can take around 7 business days. These timeframes are not guaranteed by our courier partners - Australia Post or Sendle.

  • Items that are custom made, on backorder or are dispatched from our suppliers' warehouses, may take longer to arrive and will be sent by courier. Please let us know if there is a safe place to leave the item if you are not home to avoid any redelivery issues. See details below under 'Courier deliveries'.

  • If you are concerned about when you might receive your item, please contact us at orders@palatialliving.com.au quoting your purchase order number.

Generally - Small to Medium Products

Palatial Living will, on behalf of the customer, organise appropriate freighting Australia wide.

All freight costs are payable by customer.

Shipping is calculated on weight, size and distance at checkout. We suggest that you choose a delivery address where someone is present to accept your delivery during business hours. Your workplace is the ideal delivery point.

Please provide a physical address for delivery, as we use couriers who do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Approximate Timetable for delivery if stock is available in the warehouse:

  • Sydney 2-4 days

  • Melbourne 3-4 days

  • Brisbane 5 days / TNQ 7-10 days

  • Adelaide 3-5 days

  • Perth 7-10 days

  • Tasmania 5-7 days

  • Darwin 7-10 days

Furniture

  • Due to the unique and handcrafted nature of our furniture pieces, we have carefully chosen carriers experienced in furniture delivery.

  • Once your order has been placed, and the item/s has been inspected, you will be contacted regarding the cost of shipping and arrangements will be made for a delivery (date and morning or afternoon).

  • The appropriate one or two man delivery will be automatically chosen for you, depending on the weight and/or size of the furniture.

  • Delivery pricing does not include removal of old furniture.

Courier deliveries

  • Many of our doormats, furniture and items over 100cm long are sent with a courier. Please do let us know if it is ok for the courier to leave the parcel in a safe place out of the weather if you are not home. If you are not home and you have not given authority to leave the parcel, you will have to contact the carrier to organise a redelivery. This may incur an additional fee to you.

  • Note that couriers can deliver to any street address in Australia so you are welcome to put a work address or that of your local post office if you are in a very rural location.

International, interstate and bulky item shipping

  • Our shipping calculator will only calculate postage within Australia for regular post only (not Express Post). If you require Express Post, please contact us to find out what the additional charges will be and arrange payment. 

  • If you place and pay for an order from an international location we will refund your payment in full.

Delivery

  • You are liable for payment of all delivery charges, including any additional charges incurred as a result of difficulties with access.

  • You must ensure correct delivery address details are provided to us and notify us in advance if there will be difficulties accessing the delivery address (e.g. staircases or narrow passages) as extra charges may apply.

  • We will use reasonable endeavors to meet the estimated delivery date. If we do not meet the estimated delivery date for any reason, our liability will be limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods at a different time or at a maximum, to the refund of the purchase price.

  • Products will only be delivered if a person aged over 18 years and able to accept delivery is at the delivery address.

  • Should an appropriate person not be available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for transport and re-delivery costs.

  • You are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products.

  • Once your order has left our warehouse, Palatial Living will not be responsible for any delay in delivery time, lost or damaged deliveries.
